The Old Folks Home

Good morning OF.
Cap you will probably out live us all. :lau

Ron what a ordeal. Dealing with a broken main if front of your house. I hope they got it all fixed and cleaned up.

Clue are your grands doing in school now?

Dh got out of the hospital Thursday about lunch.
They were giving him Remdesivir in the hospital to fight the Covid.
He got a bunch of meds to come home with. 3 different inhalers.
Steroids, antibotics, Mucinex. and some others I don't know what they are for.
He's still weak. But the Dr. said he has to get up and walk and move around to rebuild
his lung compacity.
And the Dr. told dh he want's to see me when he comes back Wed. He want's to test me. lol
I knew I needed to get tested but we have been to sick to go any where.

Dh's #2 son is suppose to come do our grocery shopping today. My list is going to over whelm him but we are out of everything! And have 12 more days of quarantine. It's a cinch we can't go and we have to be able to eat. lol I hope he can manage.

My surgeon had labs done on me before my heart cath. And he found one of my meds has caused liver and kidney damage. He said I have blood in my urine. I told my Dr. 3 months ago I had been passing a dozen or more black kidney stones at a time about once a month.
She wanted me to go see a urologist. But I can't lay down for the tests. So I have not gone.
My surgeon told her to change my meds or he would not do my surgery.
I got the new meds yesterday via Fedex. I have tried a bunch of others but I have a reaction to them all. That is why I was still on the one causing the damage.
I hope I can handle this one!

🙏🙏 prayers for you during these difficult times when the path seems full of rocks and twists and turns. I hope they get your medicines sorted out for you very soon! It's scary having to rely on medicines when they are almost to strong for the body.
And here's praying for DH in his long recovery. It has got to be stressful for both of you. Everybody always says take only one day at a time...but you may change that to take an hour or just a minute at a time when things get overwhelming.

It is good to hear a positive report on you Guys!

The city crew did an amazing job getting the main fixed. The hole is patched now but the black top needs to be fixed. It is nice having water back

My Dad had MS so I saw how wearing down on a person a long term illness is.

I am so thankful that the pains and disabilities I have are not as bad as that.

You have my respect for how strong you are to get through something as hard on a body as lyme disease

:bow
Thanks, I have also suffered with IBS since my kids were little. The doctors didn't know what it was at that time. Hoping to get help from the Rheumatologist for my Scleroderma next month. It is always something.

My grandfather lived to 102! I don't think I want to live that long. My memory already sucks. Mom lives in a lock down Alzheimer's unit. Quality of life is more important than length of life, if you ask me.
