Hey old Folks stopping I recall at grannies in Wisconsin had to new well
cotton mouths had taken over the one well so it was abandoned like 15 years earlier

Thanks Clue; I didn't know they could all swim. We only have a couple of types round here, and they are all small and mostly harmless (the one with toxic venom is very shy, fortunately).

The snakes, frogs and toads all swim. But they can't get up over the lip of the pool and many end up in the filtration basket. The chlorine is bad for their health, so any time we saw one we would get it out asap.

Very quiet at the OFH.
DH got a new portable gas flat top. We had fajitas for supper. They were delicious!
