Yeah, I can imagine. We would love to get a 100 foot tower but that would mean hiring a 'monkey' to climb up and put up the antennas for us. DH asked me if I didn't want to do it.

He could still hear me laughing long after I had gone inside.

Frankly I don't know how they do it. We hear of a climber getting killed around here way too regularly from tower accidents. Many time I think they are older men who don't have any business climbing or don't have good harnesses. Either way, I'm not about to try it.

Dad made a 90 foot tower in three sections. We had to pour the cement base and set the tower into it. It was only up to the 90feet once. The rest of the time it was at 30feet.

I did climb it once and that was enough for me!
