The Old Folks Home

Dog gonnit anyway! Had to go to TSC and pick up feed for the kids and what do I hear? peep peep peep, so I HAD TO LOOK! Came home with 4 Calico Princess babies.. Saphire Olive Eggers were sold out yesterday. I just can't go there or I'll have to start wearing ear plugs or something. That makes 5 from 2 weeks ago, 4 babies today, and 10 in the incubator. I need more pens!

These are the first chicks I ever have gotten that come and hop right up in your hand.. RIR x Speckled Sussex. I got two with eyeliner and two without.

Morning everyone.

@sourland, hope everything comes out alright for you. Never fun getting whittled on.
Took a dime sized hunk out of my chest and froze part of my ear with Nitrogen. Chest doesn't hurt, but ear is burning. Too many hours in the sun when we didn't bother with sunscreen are catching up to me.

Did they do MOHS on your chest, Sour? Hope you heal without too much discomfort.:hugs We know how those nitrogen burns can hurt. Every time they do DH he has about three days afterwards where he runs a low grade temp and feels punk. He seldom gets away with less than 5 areas being burned.
Had a squamous cell carcinoma on my upper lip - that required MOHS surgery. Basal cell carcinoma behind my ear only required negative biopsy. Small lesion on my left forearm was non malignant as per biopsy. Removal today was for identification/biopsy. I'll be notified if further surgery is necessary.
