The Old Folks Home

Had a squamous cell carcinoma on my upper lip - that required MOHS surgery. Basal cell carcinoma behind my ear only required negative biopsy. Small lesion on my left forearm was non malignant as per biopsy. Removal today was for identification/biopsy. I'll be notified if further surgery is necessary.
I hope the report is a good one!

Good God man! Are you sure you aren't related to my husband?

If he could get through a check up without getting freeze burned or biopsied not only would we be amazed but so would the doctors.

Are you Celtic like he is? Fair skinned and light haired?
I am Celtic/German/Iberian Peninsula - dark complected and haired (when I had hair) from my mother's side. Ironically my Scottish father never had skin cancer, but my mother did. Go figure.

It's that Scottish blood for my husband, Sour. I know sitting around waiting for the pathology report to come in is sucky.

My dad was pure German, red headed with freckles the same as me. He would burn and blister but never had a spot on his skin other than the freckles.

My mom was Cherokee and Irish and had a basal cell on her temple. I'm having a few keratosis pop up which I want to make sure aren't developing into something bad. I'm planning on getting in to see DH's derm magicians come fall.

Here's keeping the fingers crossed that they got it all for you on the first whittle and you don't have to go back.

@CSolis. Just as good that Orschelns is off limits to me now. Bad enough that I drove by and saw the big CHICK DAYS! Sign out front. Those chicks are adorable.

First of April, Tut and the 4 girls go into the rooster pen so he can work his magic on them. I hope. Guy is a bit of a goofus. I watched him mount one of the Fayoumi hens the other day and he kept falling off of her, either sideways or forwards, one time rolled back wards and almost did a summersault. Hen finally got up and shook herself like he did the best job ever. I just laughed, shook my head and told her she was a liar. Or a faker. Or had low expectations, one of the three.

Second thought, I'd better give them an extra week to give me some purebred Fayoumi eggs to hatch.
