The Old Folks Home

It's that Scottish blood for my husband, Sour. I know sitting around waiting for the pathology report to come in is sucky.

My dad was pure German, red headed with freckles the same as me. He would burn and blister but never had a spot on his skin other than the freckles.
Father was auburn haired and no skin cancer. Middle sister is a fair skinned, freckled red head - no skin cancer. Oldest sister - black hair and dark complexion - skin cancer. Again go figure. :idunno

@microchick I wanted some RIRs and some Speckled Sussex at some point in time. Never knew there was a cross.. So... Prince Charles will end up with more ladies to his credit at some point in time. I'm debating on giving Charlie Sheen to Tommy.. Charlie is sooooo big, and all my hens are medium size except for his daughter who is somewhat larger than the other gals. I love Charlie, but I worry about him irritating the backs of the hens.

ohhhhhhhh, pictures!! YES!!
Birds got oatmeal this morning would think it was the best thing ever spread it in several spots all enjoyed .. Looking at peep tomorrow .. She said she has a brother here town so will deliver them :idunno :frow

You have a rooster named Charlie Sheen who is rough on the ladies!? Oh man that is priceless!:love:lau
Yeah,,, because of the sheen in his tail feathers.. He's Prince Charlie's dad.. He he he..

@sourland, the jury is still out as to who got the normal genes in my side of the family.

Hey, everyone else in my family is normal (whoever decides what that is) and I was the only space cadet.. I'm just wayyyyyyyyyyyy out there.

Well finally got up off my rump and did some weeding in the garden and flower beds. Corn, Lima beans, and squash are starting to pop up. Portioned out the weeds to the kids, then planted a few azaleas out front. I planted a few roses earlier, and of course I have tomatoes, peppers, basil, rosemary and something else I can't remember planted.

Gave Henrietta a warm epsom salts bath too.. She's up now and there's an egg in her cage. She's got scrambled egg with echinacea in it, plus some weeds from the garden. At least she is standing up now..
