The Old Folks Home

We actually got some snow flurries today and both yesterday and today it didn't get out of the 30s. March in Missouri, ya just gotta roll with what the weather gives you and remember that it will be better in a few days. Sure enough. In the 60s by Sunday.

I'd like for it to dry out enough that I could get at least the rooster coop cleaned and the bachelors moved out.

I bought cucumber seeds, heirloom Ivan tomatoes and had squash and tomato seeds from last year that I threw between wet paper towels to see if I could get them to sprout. Sure enough today I have like a dozen tomato plants and cucumbers sprouting. Just looked and the first summer squash seed is sending out a root for me.

Spring, where art thou?

two weeks ago at TSC.. One of them sleeps face down in the feed.. Then there's 2 Black Sex Link pullets, and a Cinnamon Queen. Surely will have some variety this year.
