Ha ha ha, well I go once every two weeks for feed. Two weeks ago they had chicks, I didn't go last week.. this week there were chicks again. Now the guy tells me they will be having them weekly for a couple of months.. I have to get some ear plugs!

Just let Charlie Sheen in with all the hens on the other side of the gate. Holy cow, his hormones are raging!

54F...early spring here, LOL! But I can understand. I spent most of yesterday under a blanket. I feel the cold more acutely than my husband does. In the winter, I'm comfortable with the house at 75 to 78 degrees. He's comfortable with it at 70.

One night he couldn't believe I was still cold with it at 74 until he felt my hands and feet and discovered they were like ice. He just threw more wood on the fire for me. I seriously think it has to do for me with having a rheumatic disorder.

I've been getting really tired at the same time every day. Sure enough, 1pm hit and I was yawning. Laid on the sofa with a bad movie to watch, fell asleep, woke up to find the whole wheat bread I'd mixed up was ready to be punched down.

Anybody besides me a fan of the old western TV programs of the 60s-70s? I read in the news this morning that Henry Darrow died. if you watch High Chaparral, he was Manolito Montoya. He was 87 years old. Most of the actors from that era are almost gone.

Makes me feel old.

I watch westerns all the time! Gun smoke is a favorite. Really like it when I see an episode I had not seen before.

Dog gonnit anyway! Had to go to TSC and pick up feed for the kids and what do I hear? peep peep peep, so I HAD TO LOOK! Came home with 4 Calico Princess babies.. Saphire Olive Eggers were sold out yesterday. I just can't go there or I'll have to start wearing ear plugs or something. That makes 5 from 2 weeks ago, 4 babies today, and 10 in the incubator. I need more pens!

You're in good company! Almost everyone I know needs more coops!
