The Old Folks Home

We have a sweeper contraption that pulls behind the riding mower. It fills, and can be easily dumped where you want it.
That would be so great, but since I'm pushing a mower or weed and grass trimmer around, I don't think having something tied to me and pulling it around would be very helpful.. :lau

Good Morning, OF...
Had a funny last night... Kids out there were kicking up a fuss so I went out, rifle in hand, prepared to get 'whatever'. 'Whatever' happened to be Bruce the Magnificent up on top of the hoop coop instead of in his pen with his ladies.. He normally roosts on top of the lady's house instead of inside on the roost.. Guess he found a gap between the deer netting and decided to go visiting. Well, I did get him without much fuss.. he sunk right down in my arms and got some pets on the way back to his own pen.. I put him inside the hen house on the roost, and all he did was chuckle up a storm.. Guess he was telling those ladies what an adventure he had been on and how I got suckered in to bringing him back home.

For the life of me, can't they just stay put where they are supposed to be? Yesterday morning it was KE...

Good morning sourland, everyone!

With all the goings ons around here, I forgot to mention something. One of middle grand's training wheels came off her bike yesterday. She rode it that way for awhile, then asked grandpa to take the other one off. He did. She can now ride her bike like a champ, without training wheels.

Good morning everyone. It's cold out. Not nearly as cold as some of you are experiencing, but still cold nonetheless.

CS, I didn't realize you were only using a push mower. Disregard my suggestion.
It's OK... I can just imagine seeing me doing that!
Actually if I had a mule or something, I could devise something to pull around.

Yeah, so green there and lots of mulch!

Tomorrow someone is coming over to see about repairing an old chicken coop. Really nice thick wood on it, and it was standing there with the roof on the ground right side up next to it when I bought the place, no idea how that happened. Strong winds knocked one wall down last month. I think it would look better reassembled with some cluckers and a crower in it. Maybe he could even move it closer to the house.
I hope the coop is an easy fix!
