Dh has been working on his computer all night. He was reformatting a new drive, when his cat walked across the keyboard. He was fixing that, and doing something else, when the cat walked on his keyboard again. She wiped out the wifi antenna system too. He's had to not only deal with the hard drive, but reprogram each antenna, and get the wireless security cameras synced back up. He finally went to bed. I won't hear from him for the rest of the day.

He's criticized me on numerous occasions, because I have a can of compressed air on my desk. The cats can come sit/lay on the cleared off area of my desktop, BUT if they get near my keyboard, or try playing with something on my desktop, I grab the can of compressed air, and blow a little air in their direction. They hate the sound, and take off. They're trained about desktop etiquette on my desk. He's not criticizing my can of air now.

I began doing that, because of my bratty cat. She thought everything on my desk was hers to play with, or chew. I got tired of going to my desk, to find that she, or his cat had batted all kinds of things onto the floor. Headphone wires were a favorite plaything, and they'd chew the wires, rendering the headphones unusable. 2 sets of headphones later, and I decided to get pack of cans of compressed air to begin training them. It worked just fine, and it's harmless.

Fun day yesterday.. Went out and cleared a section in the front with the weed and grass trimmer, then went around the wheelbarrow picking up limbs and stuff. Baby Jay was following me around and riding on the wheelbarrow. I walked over to the elderberry patch and grabbed a stem with now ripe berries to feed to Baby Jay.. Hmmmm, good stuff ma. So he flies over to where the berries are on the bush to eat a while. He saw where I got them, smart little guy.

Then came in the house, cooled off, showered and got ready for my 60 mile trip to the endocrinologist. Left 2 hours early to make sure I was there well ahead of time. Yup, road work.... Got there and the clinic was closed, even though I was still a half an hour early. Called back, got the answering service in INDIA.. yup, that clinic is only open Mon and Tues. The doc was in Destin another 80 miles away. I nearly blew my stack. Just what I need is another stroke!

So, I calls back this morning. Do you know that clinic is ONLY open Mon and Tues. "Yes", then why the hell when I call the number for that clinic did they schedule me for a Wed? "I'm sorry ma'am, can I reschedule you?" What a bunch of dipsheets!

PT came today and instead of exercising we walked a half mile. She was hot, I was still cool as a cucumber and had a good laugh at her. This was after mowing for an hour. Guess I'll make it yet.

Best friend and I had a pet crow when we were kids. For two years he would follow us wherever we went. Quite a sight - two kids on bikes with a crow dive bombing or flying between them. His second summer he found a mate and was only an occasional visitor. Third summer he disappeared.

Yup, Baby Jay follows me around outside..He was on the top of the hen house while I fed the ones in the pen. He is always close by. He comes in the house about ever couple of hours to 'tank up' then take a bath only to come to my monitor to perch and shake off the excess water. His birdie bath is on top of the table and he gets a drink there or takes a bath in it. It is fun watching him grow up and learn new things. His flight ability is amazing me now. Just wish he would eat stuff he finds outside and be less dependent on me.
