Another one bites the dust... Just about 5' worth of useless. Found him coiled up on top of the dog kennel Bonnie was nesting in. No wonder she abandoned the nest. I brought the last 3 eggs in and stuck them in the incubator even though they were cool. I see activity in one egg. Prolly gonna be roo!

We went to our local fair today in masks we are vaccinated they asked all wear masks we did .. Bought a new upright
spoon rest a gal is making pottery I like pieces that are different.
Also there was a local tupperware person had not seen any in years. Bought a new set of bowls like our old ones.
Now have a set and half

I'll mention this in passing so I don't make you old farts jealous. While driving to town I was feeling my oats and thanked the Creator becuase at nearly 70 I don't have one ache or pain, no indigestion, sniffle/snuffle or anything else. I really got off easy!

I'm closing in on 60 (6 months to go), and just about every day I'm reminded how VERY lucky DH and I are with regards to our health.

I was talking with a friend of mine who is a doctor (we reconnected after losing touch for many years), and asked her about some of the numbers in my blood work that are flagged as being out of the normal spectrum. She asked for a couple of other numbers that are related, and told me, "That's really good. You have nothing to worry about. That's fine and probably just normal for you."

I do have a couple of aches right now... my arms are sore from pounding in fence posts. I've never done that before, so it's not surprising. Just call me Noodle Arms. :gig
 
Well darn did get a fan in I ordered for the small coop.
Not so large but like the one we bought for banty coop goes right in wall

Got my first moderna shot today on the way in to see DH. I've had so many reactions to meds I was letting other people try the vaccines first. I see they are giving 3rd shots to immune compromised people so I assume they are compiling data. Also the Crohn's cramps are becoming more obvious and the GI said he would be giving a biologic when the inflammation gets worse. My thinking is a vaccine could work better now then once my immune system is knocked down by medication. DH got a blood transfusion yesterday, an iron boost today and will get another iron boost tomorrow.
I keep thinking of the lady I encountered at the ER and wonder if she thinks about me as well! There were 6 ladies on wheelchairs sitting outside the ER. My first thoughts were it's a full house again. I told DH what to say at the desk while I park, some one would help him till I get in. I didn't see who the lady in front of me dropped off but she stayed right inside the parking garage,I couldn't get past to park. Some one behind me honked so she pulled in a spot. I found the parking garage full and would have to go back out on the one way City streets to another garage😒 I circled around and the car beside the lady that was originally in front of me pulled out. Happily I parked and jumped out to run to find DH. Did that lady ever yell at me! She was in an unauthorized spot waiting for this car to pull out and I grabbed it. I didn't realize she was waiting for it. I said over my shoulder that my husband is bleeding, I have to go- she said so is hers. She wasnt old and somehow I didn't feel guilty. She wouldn't have gotten back in her car and moved for me either. But, well, maybe I find a twinge of guilt or I'd have forgotten it by now. Maybe we were both running on high adrenaline and would be friends if we met again??
Or maybe I'm getting brazen? I threw a hissy fit at the GIs nurse-oops! He was supposed to have a phone appt. With the GI on Monday @ 4:00. At 2:00 they sent him a link to do a video chat and he isn't good with internet so I called them and said I'm not with him so I can't set up his phone. She insisted she's going to cancel the appointment because the Dr can only do videos. I won't go into detail... Except I won
