I visited Fairystone park today and searched for stones. It was interesting and mostly relaxing.

I'm waiting for TSC to put out the ventless propane heating units again. I have a spare line under the house near the corner of the LR where I plan on putting it. Do I need to get ceramic tiles or even paver stones to set it on?

No. They have brackets for wall mounting and feet for floor mounting. They are not hot only in the front where the flame is and air blows out. Very safe. And way better than those kerosene heaters.
The propane/NG ventless heaters have a safety feature that they will not work/light have a low oxygen shutoff. And they run with a thermostat, turn on and off, and they don't smell...
Those kerosun heaters don't have any of those features.
The vent free propane heater will also like the kerosun work without electricity the blower won't run but you don't need it.

We have a balloon festival here also. Haven't ever been to it but would like to someday.

Oh I hear ya!

I'm sure I'll know more after Wednesday as far as 'what's next'. Yes, a GI visit and a colonoscopy for sure but I've been doing research and there is a form of rheumatic arthritis called Eneropathic Arthritis where the pain starts in your joints and spine before going to your colon. I had a week and a half of excruciating back pain before it suddenly stopped and the bowel pain started. I told my husband that I was betting real money that is what they are going to find wrong with me. What if? Biologics. Humira being the drug of choice. Some go on steroids. Think I'd rather have the Humira. But given the fact that I've been dealing with a 'form' of rheumatic arthritis that nobody seems to be able to pin down and this pretty much fits the symptomology.

I'm on an antibiotic also. Will decide whether or not to continue on Wednesday but I have a feeling he will because I spiked a temp Friday night.

And as for months...man I can embrace that !

So what foods would y'all painfully miss if you were told you couldn't eat them again? For me....anything with sugar in it, Fried chicken, Ice cream...my granola bar snackschocolate cake and or brownies. OH! and potato chips.

Bread. I'm able to eat it thank heavens! Just no wheat, which I love. :/.

Since you got them in June I'd bet on eggs in a month give or take. I doubt they'll wait until spring.


If you need it long term get it from the pharmacy with a Dr's RX so insurance will cover it. Check with the company, some will cover capsules which aren't OTC but won't cover tablets because they are even though they are pretty expensive.


I've never been up real close but given how well you can hear them when they are over head a decent distance and the hit the gas I can see how they would be deafening in the front row. I hope your DGD eventually recovered.

Insurance will cover it? Why haven't I been told that? Ey?! I'm going to ask my doc about that!

Met a pretty funny old guy today. Bought a vehicle off him. DW was pretty sure a scammer.

Would not give me a address, messages were odd... DW sure a scam, I said maybe a old person. I remember a time when people had to tell you how to get somewhere. That's what he did.
Get there and yeah he looks a bit old maybe 70ish. Test drive vehicle and dicker/haggle on price felt like I was on American Pickers.
I can write him a check right now, no don't trust it wants cash. I can get it tomorrow when I pick it up .
Insisted on a deposit to hold it DW wasn't happy about that either don't know the guy .
After we finally have a deal talk to him a long time. Many stories.
Then I mentioned to him I always ask about cash cause always figure most people prefer but I met one guy that didn't was freaked out getting a big wad of cash. He says, "I'm 83yrs old buddy, I don't worry about anything" as he grabs his side and I realize he's 'packing' .....

I was worried about him being a online scammer, proud of that old timer thinking maybe I could be the same.
