All's peaceful this morning at Ft McCluck. The two 6 week olds have been out free ranging in the LR with Gen Lee. No scraps or squabbles today. He even let Corn Puff in his cage to eat food without getting upset.

I think it's wonderful when a pet learns to trust you and converse with you like that. It shows you are a good care taker. Much better then the guy walking past our house with his dog, the dog heard a noise and stopped in his tracks. The owner yelled out, you dumb dog you, why did you stop! And yanks on his leash.
Or the neighbor lady in her yard yelling at her dogs, 5 minutes, that's it! Poop now... I will hear her yelling at the dogs at least 5 more minutes.

Or like my neighbors who apparently don't provide proper food and shelter for their two dogs. The dogs show up at my door at 6 am daily for breakfast, some times in the afternoon as well.. Always begging at the door to come in when a storm is approaching.

Lord have mercy, Dh is on the tractor, digging up the side yard. It's ok. It's where he wants to put his shop. It has to be dug out some anyway. I think he'll put some type of aggregate to reinforce it for the foundation, after he gets it dug out.

See, he DID need that 1025R!
