Actually not as bad as the last time I got stung that time by a yellow legged wasp. My little finger turned black up to the middle knuckle and finally the skin pealed off. That's when the doctor handed me the RX for an epi pen. For some reason the yellow jackets are unpleasant but not as bad as the wasps stings for me. I was looking at some internet info on them and my sting seems to be following usual reactions to yellow jacket stings.

Lordie I would hate for it to be unusual, LOL.

Can you take Benadryl tablets? I had multiple yellow jacket stings on my hand once and Benadryl helped a lot.

Oh yean, I immediately took two Benadryl tablets and followed up with two more at bedtime. Plus singulair. Doctor told me to do 2 benadryls and 1 singulair tablet. it was so close to the evening that I just took two Benadryls and held off with the Singulair until bedtime since I can only take one of those a day.

Tonight the swelling hasn't gone down but the itching has eased off a lot. Hopefully the swelling will start to go down tomorrow.

What auto insurance do you use? Bundled with home. I hate shopping for insurance but it's so hard to get a hold of our agent that I either want to get another agent or new company altogether. His mail box doesn't allow you to leave a message but I don't get a very quick response with texting. He hardly ever answers and his girls make so many mistakes that take a month or two to get straitened out . Im with state farm at present

Morning everyone.

Found out last night about 8 that the GI Doc had tried to call me yesterday morning. They had a colonoscopy opening for tomorrow and wanted to know if I wanted it. BLASTED VERIZON!! They never notify us if we have missed a call. We have to remember to check the phone a couple times the day. Yesterday we were out mucking out the coop and spreading litter on the pasture so we wouldn't have heard the phone even if we had it on us which we don't. No desire to drop it in chicken poop or in the pasture and run over it with the tractor..

We are on the fringe for both Verizon and US Cellular so getting another service won't help. We added a signal booster after we lost Sidney.

I called them back. They had found a fill for the appointment. I could have had this over and done with as of tomorrow but now still waiting.

My hand has finally stopped itching. Now hopefully the swelling will start to diminish.

@lovesfarms we use GEICO for our auto insurance and Farm Bureau for our property. We tried to do an umbrella with GEICO for autos and home but they couldn't come close to the Farm Bureau prices or coverage. Plus we heat with biomatter so not a lot of companies will cover that.

@silverhair67 Those chicks are too cute to be legal. I love it when they are at that awkward cute stage like teenagers without the sass and begging for the car.
