The Old Folks Home

My daughter in law just tested positive for Covid. Weird thing is, she tested negative three times at a place that tested her and my son with the three different tests on the same day. He was positive. So, thinking she got it when he did two weeks ago.. they both got pretty sick and thought for sure she would test positive. Who knows. She had to go back today before going back into work/office. Good thing her job is partly at home. She has been working on her computer here at home. She feels fine except yesterday she says, I don't know why I'm sneezing so much. Oh dear. I've been around both of them. I did go get tested last week, it was negative. I'm not too worried about getting it, knock on wood.

I used to be able to fall asleep anywhere anytime. Years ago when my mother was terminally ill I remember laying with my head propped up on my hand with a 100w lightbulb blazing into my eyes so I would stay awake to give her medicine she needed at 11pm.

I woke up at 11:15.

Now that I'm older it's a lot different. If I don't follow the same routine every night, I ain't fallin to sleep easily.

I'm sorry Cynthia. It just seems to be a never ending nightmare for everyone. Prayers that she has a swift and complete recovery and that you stay negative.

I can pretty much sleep anywhere except on the floor in the airport.
Cap, just the thought of sleeping on the floor in an airport is :sick

I hope they didn't share with you Cynthia!!!!

Try sleeping on a ships metal deck when it's at general quarters for 2 to 3 days
Oh, that does NOT sound fun at all!!!!
Which ship? What time frame? And I guess I should say "Happy belated Veterans' Day and thank you for your service"
