We have been lucky to live to be our ummmmmm...age? Whatever it is.

I think I felt like an orphan when my dad didn't know me any more in the nursing home where I worked. Mom had passed in 99, Dad in 06. It was just finalized when he passed. 94 peacefully in his sleep.

Glad to have you back, Cap. It will take time. Nothing hurts like losing your mom. And unfortunately Dementias just make sure you lose them slowly and painfully. :hugs

That is also one I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis
I run the other way from any of those ...
I hate all the meds that make us worse than than the problem .. Lidocain is on the open market now all by itself.
Use as often as needed .. Tramadol for the rest of what I have.
