Hi gang. Final word from the doctor? I'm going to live. Case closed as far as this round of testing is concerned. She is pretty positive she found the cause of my problems. Final count is Diverticulitis/diverticulosis, diverticulitis colic and bleed and gastritis.

My labs were all good with the exception of my cholesterol being mildly elevated. Enough to start meds because as she put it. When diet doesn't do the trick, it's heredity so I'm starting statins.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch they are calling for a 'snow event' over the weekend. NOAA in it's infinite wisdom says they are keeping an eye on it but it could be an EVENT! Gasp! And how much snow is in an event? Weather.com is saying 4-11 inches. Or maybe 5-8 inches but with an inch Friday night and an inch....well you get the picture.

Stopped at the feed store at the way home and wanted to bring home the 5 Alaskan Malamute puppies they had. Husband said NO! He's no fun....Y'all know how it is. The 4 legged children get to their teens in doggy years and suddenly you look around and realize they aren't babies any more and you miss puppy breath....
