Does FL have any programs that pay you to replace old inefficient machines with new Energy Star models? Could save you some money there.I'd rather put the money into an efficient AC system, that benefits us, instead of the electric company.
ScaryThe A/C guy came today to assess our situation, and give an estimate on a new A/C system. Ours is about 14 years old, give or take.
Could it be a burrowing owl?I heard a strange tapping under the house. It's enclosed except for a few small areas animals have dug out for entrance. So I got my flashlight to take a look see.. WOW, What appears to be a kestrel or like type bird has decided to make a nest up under the house. I certainly don't mind since it will eat mice, rats, squirrels, snakes or whatever critter decides to take up residence under the house. What might they bird be, and I was unaware they would make a nest in an area so low.
