Is that what it means? Wow, my brain must be plumb worn out by now then. I REALLY hate it when the base level tinnitus jumps an octave and goes to about 100 dB.

No, I don't think so. I have 3 or 4 different sounds going on. Not very loud, thank goodness! Mostly low pitched hums. There is one that is two notes, a major second apart (the pitch, I mean) and it pauses on the low, but ALWAYS ends on the higher note.

We took a break for lunch, so I get a few minutes.

silverhair, I used to tell my mother it was a waste of time making my bed, since I was going to get back in it, and mess it back up later, when I went to sleep. No, she didn't let me get away with it, but she understood my logic.

Oh, that is worse than mine, it is a single "tone" about C above middle C. Except when it gets into Silver's Geritol and jumps an octave and the volume goes up drastically. Fortunately that doesn't happen too often nor last too long.

And then there was my younger sister who you could probably slide out the top and not know anyone had slept in the bed since it wa last made.

Yes, i had a Dr. appointment so i knew it was Monday. Then when i drove 45 minutes to get there, they didn't take my new insurance. So i went to the park to rockhound.
