The Old Folks Home

It's a sadness. Decaf=Brown Sadness Water.
You need to buy better decaf!!!! It isn't "real coffee vs Sanka" any more!

I'm wondering if maybe the heating pad is putting out too much heat for them and I need to raise it a bit. IDK.
Standard rule is:
If they won't go in, it is too hot
If they won't come out, it is too cold
If they come and go it is JUST RIGHT!

Mine were apparently from Prussia.

@CSolis one of my ladies would love it at your house. Some little mice moved into the chicken house, now she comes to MY house to lay her eggs. The window on the door is all dirty cause she jumps against it to get in. Where is she headed? The bathroom. Anywhere I will give her dirty clothing to hide under

Mine just do that little soft peeping sound until they fall asleep except for the one idiot child who sets on top of the thing and goes CHURP CHURP CHURP WHERE IS EVERYONE CHURP! until somebody pops their heads out and is seen or I get tired of listing to it crying and go in and stuff it under the heating pad.

One in every clutch.

The one thing I notice with the mama heating pad is the chicks churring a lot. Didn't have that going on with the light heated brooders.
I love that sound…..it’s like they are reading each other quiet bedtime stories.
