I call all my roosters...the same thing. Mr. Rooster. I try not to give any pullets special names, because then they drop dead.

I've named every single one of mine, except the 11 in the brooders. Have to wait for inspiration to strike.

Occasionally i will name a special rooster. One guy was named Two Kicks, because that's what it took to get him to stop trying to flog me.

Only a rooster gets a name here Smudge gowing up a grey and white cockerel may get to live with the flock we will see ...

The kids in the crib brooder on the front porch have names. Four of them are King Wheaties and Raven's babes.. 2 speckled Fred and Wilma, 2 black are Barney and Betty. The last of the BCM eggs to hatch is Isis.. Sister to King Tut and Sheba.

I always give names to my goats that i am keeping, no matter how many i have.

So weird….. I also had a King Tut and a Smudge! They’ve been gone a long time now. They were both from the same hatch.

Good Morning OF... got nearly 2 " of rain last night and the place didn't flood.. It's a miracle of some degree! In other news, Mr T had the zoomies this morning when he hopped down from his roosting spot. Was hilarious to watch. And he's now able to stand on one foot while stretching the other without busting his can..
