I'll let her tell you how old she is today!

But the prices are not as high as they were.
I guess that may depend on where you're at in the country, and what you're wanting in the way of building supplies. Here, among other things, windows are at a premium, and it can take quite some time to get them delivered.

My cousin just moved into her new home, which should have been finished quite awhile back. They had to wait on various things during the build, which delayed the build. The last thing for it to be completed was the windows. It took a little over 3 months after everything else was done, for them to finally get them delivered.

My neighbors just added on to their home. One of the things they upgraded throughout the entire home, was the windows. It took almost a year for them to get all of the ones they had ordered, from the manufacturer.

Even the cost of the metal sheds/carports has skyrocketed here. They're at least double what they were 2 years ago.

It may have something to do with this being one of the top 3 states that people are moving to, which puts a higher demand on building materials.

Went to have my windows tinted this morning. Front side windows to match the back ones, and windshield glare strip. One of the best experiences dealing with a business I've had in a long time. They were ready for me, so no waiting. They did a flawless job. They had me inspect it before releasing it. Exactly the price quoted, even though they custom cut the glare strip to be longer than standard, for the front windshield. Done in 1 hour 15 mins.
