Went to get my infusion shots today. Will see the doctor on Friday. I've got to see how she wants to handle things, since they goofed up my infusion schedule due to the hurricane.

Good morning Old Folks. Rain will hold off here till early tomorrow before we are up.

Beautiful sunny day, but chilly. Most of the leaves are down, except for the oak tress, of course.

I don't know if the local grocery chain is going to have their special on turkey closer to Thanksgiving, so I'm going to go get one tomorrow. They are EXPENSIVE right now, but DH doesn't want to miss out.

I've been hearing about 1000s being culled for HPAI.

Very surprised to see the plethora of frozen turkeys at the store. Kind of early, IMHO. But, then again, I'm out of fridge and freezer space.

Usually when it's just DH and myself, we get a turkey breast and do it up in the Instant Pot. A whole turkey for us is an eternity...

Good Morning Old Folks the floor in the computer room is bare plywood.
Going to mix the paints we have paint the floor seal it then buy the laminate wood to go down.

Very surprised to see the plethora of frozen turkeys at the store.

Really? Wow. I haven't seen many at all. And what's there is $3 a pound. $65-70 for a turkey.

So, we decided to go ahead and get a turkey now, the heck with the cost. There were about 8 Butterball turkeys in the freezer at the store.

And one of them was marked at 99 cents a pound! I got a 20 pound turkey for $20! I don't know why; maybe it was left from last year...?

Anyway, we will have a turkey for Thanksgiving. And I'll have bones for bone broth!
