Friday, I went and got labs done, then saw my oncologist. We will do a CT scan in Dec., then see where I stand on things. I'll know then if the new meds are working, or if I'll need to do chemo.

After I got home from the cancer center, Dd #1 dropped me off at Ford. They've got more diagnostics to do, but decided I should have my truck for the weekend. I was driving home, and got into an accident. The other person was ticketed with the accident. I'm fine.

Sooooooo, Monday I am to take it to the Ford auto body shop, and they are to restore it to new, as per my insurance company. Still, it's a bit disheartening.

Really? Wow. I haven't seen many at all. And what's there is $3 a pound. $65-70 for a turkey.

So, we decided to go ahead and get a turkey now, the heck with the cost. There were about 8 Butterball turkeys in the freezer at the store.

And one of them was marked at 99 cents a pound! I got a 20 pound turkey for $20! I don't know why; maybe it was left from last year...?

Anyway, we will have a turkey for Thanksgiving. And I'll have bones for bone broth!

Glad you are ok! Reminds me of the two different wrecks where guys driving Ford 150s ran into my truck. In one case i had to crawl in and out of the window because the door wouldn't open. The other time a guy backed into me in the parking lot. Then there was the time the same tree fell on the car and truck and totaled both. But i told the insurance company i needed it fixed becausei can't afford a new one.
At least i wasn't harmed.
