Miss Maggie Mae, also a doodle, was suffering with idiopathic epileptic seizures that could not be controlled. She was less than 2 years old when she was euthanized. I miss her daily. I share your pain.

@NotAFarm, I'm so sorry. We lost our Sydney two years ago at the age of 16 months and the wound is still painful for me so I know how you are feeling.

I like meeting new people on here. I've met a few, so far. It's not easy keeping up or chatting often, tho. I've mainly talked about my chickens, of course. People here are so helpful. And, I'm old, too, lol. I have all kinds of critters... dogs, cats and chickens. Our older pullets... 3 white rock and 3 leghorns... are about 5 months, and our Bantams are still unknown breeds to us. They are about 4 weeks. they've grown so much and almost completely changed colours. Sorry if I'm rambling. I didn't get to sleep last night. One of our cats had to be NPO due to going this morning to be neutered. So, he kept me awake, telling me he wanted food and water.
