I'm dreading Thursday. If I can get the propane to work on our turkey fryer I've got a bunch of wild and crazy roosters to catch the night before so I can get them properly dressed for the freezer. They literally run wild chasing pullets that are doing the same. These pullets will lay while their parents molt. I'm amazed how they came out laying large eggs within days of starting.

Chore time for me. Coops must get closed and some feed here and there for the growing kids.

We have all the preliminary things done including the text on the headstones. All fees paid except for the final for the stones.

I thought about going the prepaid funeral route until a little over a year ago when a funeral home here in town was shut down with the owner/director being brought up on charges related to the prepaid process. Didn't hear a lot about it but the place is still shut down.

We got references from our banker at the time of prepayment. What we actually got was a life insurance plan that will pay anyone for that final trip.

I use a Contigo water "bottle". Actually they are metal "glasses" with screw on tops that have a button you need to push to open the drinking hole. I keep it on the floor next to the bed.
