The old man once again has the chickens in their coops except for the old guard. They wait until the last ray of daylight is half gone before running for the coop door. I got tired of having a roundup every night. Not wearing my hips out on stupid chickens.

Now I can shower and wind down. Some of these chickens got me really wound up today. I got really tired of knocking 6 hormonal roosters off of another rooster. I have all the pullets in a coop where they can't be attacked so it's roosters being crazy all day long. Tomorrow if finally freezer camp day for some of them. Not new to processing but it's been over 60 years since I've done it. It's going to be a tough day as my wife's back is out so I get to work all the workstations doing this first batch. I've got hopes of getting 12 in the fridge chilling tomorrow. At least I have a plucker that will pluck 4 a minute.
