I got up long enough to move a needed feed bag out to a coop that was out. I've can inside in the warm and will be back under the covers in a few. Supper is almost ready.

Speaking of fishing poles, when I was really young, we used Cane Poles in the surrounding lakes. Heck, I've even fished from docks in salt water with them. They were fairly inexpensive, and got the job done.

I used a lot of cane poles and when fishing in the strip mine pits just a piece of line with a hook caught fish.

Don't need a worm for sunfish. just flatten out a piece of fresh bread where it will wobble as it sinks. Don't use any added weight. Just let it sink on its own and see what happens. I used to do that and it really PO's the rich kids who had the latest greatest tackle and could not catch the fish like I was.
