Dh has been bugging for awhile now to get 1 more subwoofer for his system. Well, yesterday he finally got it. It was originally $1,400. BUT the owner said he'd give him a $210. discount, and throw in the stands, cover, and cables. When Dh went to pick it up, they didn't have a NEW one in stock. They had an open-box one for $800 something. Dh had them apply the discount, and everything to the open box one, and got the whole thing for around $600. That's less than half price. The open box one was either used for about a month as a demo model on the stage, OR they didn't have a demo model, so they opened the box to show it to a customer. Either way, it was a steal. They didn't have the stands in stock, so they're being mailed to us. Today Dh has been busy assembling the rolling base it sets on, and getting it set on it.
