I'm 90% finished with getting irrigation set up now. Rain or no rain I hope for a good harvest. This year is the biggest garden project since the late 70's through the early 80's. Jars and freezers to fill this year.

When we lived further north in California, we had much larger and damaging hale.

We have never had hail here not sure why?
We have lived here 10 years now.

We had lots of hail when we lived in NW MO. It was bad enough there that farmers bought hail insurance on their crops.

We have lived here 10 years now.

We get it here in WI and already did earlier this year during the warm spell. They were about a quarter size but those big ones lasted for only about 30 seconds and the rest was nickel, then pea size. I've never seen golf ball sized but after hearing those quarter sized ones hitting the house, I'd actually be scared if it was any worse!
