As a kid, sick with measles, high fever, sleeping in the living room, saw a green python come out of a Ritz cracker box on the other side of the room, came around to where I was and breathed hot air on me. I woke up screaming, and my fever broke.

Really happened.

I had measles as a kid. Can't remember much about it. Probably was confined to bed. Seems like lots of kids got measles back then. Can't remember it being considered a deadly disease like it is today. I know mumps was kinda risky for male children.

I had measles, mumps, and chicken pox.... As an adult came the shingles. Twice.
