The Old Folks Home

Now that the snow is gone, it gets dark quickly when it's overcast. If it's clear, twilight lasts a long time. When the ground was white, it seemed light even longer.

I am not keen on the time change coming up! The chickens will be keeping me up later and later.

I am planning to keep getting up at 6 am, even though it won't get light till nearly 8 starting next Sunday.
I only use the clock for appointments. Here on the farm the Chickens start and end the days.

I wake up 10-15 minutes before the alarm, usually. I need to stick to a schedule or my internal clock gets messed up. Which is a nice way of saying, I turn into a slug-a-bed. :gig

Good Morning Old Folks. We never set the alarm clock here unless we have an appointment before 10am. I tend to wake up early whether or not I have anything special in the mornings. There is no fixing my biological clock. It does what ever it decides to do. Two many years of swing shift and evening shift and even midnight shifts to fix it.
