Got home safe and sound from Greenfire Farms. Saw only one person at their gate. Went to the post office as instructed and when there we got the text to come to their gate and we had a brief chat about future purchases. They have their over hatch chicks at special prices and we will take advantage of this when they have a breed available that we need for our breeding programs. One trip is planned when we can pick up some Indio Gigante chicks when we can visit a family cemetery that is not to far from them in N FL making good use of the drive. Still just a one day affair. I could see some of the rustic settings they have in the distance. It sent me back in time to a period of my life from my youth visiting family with my parents in my early childhood.

It's a hot one here now. The Ice Age didn't last and I'm glad of that. It's just to hard to grow good food during an Ice Age.
