We are over the hump on the hot days. We also had some rain this morning. Only in the 80s for the next week or so.

I will have to remind hubby that this is prime growing weather for his habanero peppers!

That sounds like what we get in the summer. 102 is ok though. Over 110F is brutal.

We start out the day with humidity in the 50s and the go down to 20s with the heat as it goes up

From brutal heat to a brutal thunderstorm. Now we are without power. Most likely the high winds took some trees down over power lines out here in the sticks. At least the temp took a nosedive from 94° down to 70° now.

Ice age is back. Not supposed to make it to the 90's today. 73° now. Hoping no severe rain while we travel today. Caught a sale on Bielefelder chicks down the road at Greenfire Farms and we are picking up 8 more today. So glad they let locals pick up at their local post office instead of the 3 day delivery that the USPS shipping time. I'm sure the chicks don't mind the 2 hour +a few minutes ride to their new home.
