I'm back. Some major hassles here with a power surge/brownout and cable loss, but we are okay, and house did not get destroyed - only 'stuff' in it.

Whenever anyone tells me to have a good weekend, I reply, "My life is a weekend.

"Stuff"? what kind of 'stuff' Sour? Hopefully the type that insurance will replace.

We lost our furnace, oven, dehumidifier, coffee maker, an alarm clock, many light bulbs and 3 power surge strips. So far insurance co. is making positive sounds.

That's good news! Especially losing your furnace.
Stuff you can replace, even a house. Better yet that nothing caught fire and nobody got hurt. Lot harder to replace flesh and blood.

Sorry to hear that! Likely took out the printed circuit board in your furnace. Hope your insurance comes through for you!

Truthfully, we love retirement. The money sucks but it took us about a year to figure out that we work harder retired than we did when we were working.....except no pay day!!! Whoda thunk?

That really sums it up to a tee!

Good morning Old Folks. Spent two days figuring out new normal.
Vertigo had me questioning life.
Coop seems to be a trigger for it.
