The Old Folks Home

It's been cloudy and chilly here for the past few days. Highs in the mid 50s. I almost wish it would just rain and be done with it.
It is raining here today. It would be nice if Indian summer would show up!

Hey Cap! Good to see you! I've been hoping that you would pop in. How are you feeling?

Do you have access to any ceramic shops where you are? I'm looking for two pieces that I need to finish a Native American Nativity that I picked up at a consignment shop. Your the only other person I know who is into pottery and ceramics. This is a Provincial mold set I think it is called Indian Kids nativity. I thought I had found somebody on Etsy who was willing to sell individual pieces but it's been weeks since I've heard from them. We have absolutely zero ceramics shops here. No big rush. I'm still Dry Brushing the rest of the pieces. Let me know whenever you get a chance.

We don't have any local places that sell paint it yourself bisque ware. We use clay in solid form and shape our own pieces.

Our winters are almost like Indian Summer all the time. Very few nights of freezing winter. I probably don't deal with ice in the coops more than a dozen mornings a year. Not often enough to justify heated water fountains. It's just now cool enough to let the girls have crack corn for treats in the afternoons.

Well darn. I knew you were doing work with solid blocks of clay but I was hoping maybe there was a ceramics shop around you somewhere. I swear the closest one I can find in in the middle of Kansas. Not even close enough for a day trip but.....maybe I can email them. Hmmmmmm.

Anyhoo, so how are you feeling these days? More rested I hope.
