That's what we had yesterday! Right now it's 20° which is balmy by comparison. I wish it would stay; tomorrow we could get the dreaded "wintry mix" precipitation. Hubby will be taking me to the chiropractor and the store in the Jeep tomorrow.

Supposed to hit 34 today. 47 tomorrow but rain.

On occasions DH and I remark that we wish we had retired somewhere where the winter weather was a bit kinder. Then we think about the logistics of moving again. It took us over 2 years to move from IL to Missouri closing down the office, selling it and the house we had there. Every friend who had called on us for help disappeared into the wood work so it was just the two of us and endless trips back and forth pulling the trailer behind the loaded van. I shudder to think of what it would be like now to move farther south.....and throw another log on the fire.
I seriously find an occasional tote that has somehow evaded unpacking 12 years later.
It's supposed to be in the 40s here today but -3 this weekend....Chickens will not be happy and I won't be too tickled about it either.
Need to pay bills this morning Oh what fun never ends.
