Amarilla is my favorite flower! I have about 75 bulbs planted in the yard. Fortunately I don't have to dig them up every year, only when they need to be divided. I mulch them very well every fall and they surprise me every spring. I have several colors, even a dark red almost purple one.View attachment 4282512

We used to grow Amaryllis in FL, but I doubt they would survive winter in VA.Amarilla is my favorite flower! I have about 75 bulbs planted in the yard. I grew them when we lived in Tennessee. Planted them on the southeast side close to the house and mulched. I kept some in pots and brought them inside when the weather got cold.We used to grow Amaryllis in FL, but I doubt they would survive winter in VA.
Our moving truck isn't coming today.!Hey Old Folks the beat goes on.
Hubby has to be in Danville tomorrow morning to get the TV set up done. So I have to supervise the move. This is a huge pain in our butts! Digging through boxes in the back of our truck for medications, pillows, blankets. And I will likely miss ceramics class tomorrow night. I have missed it so over the last month. It keeps me sane. Our moving truck isn't coming today.!Hubby has to be in Danville tomorrow morning to get the TV set up done. So I have to supervise the move. This is a huge pain in our butts! Heel low:
Dang...that's not good! Love how you are held to an appointment but not others! Hope it works out OK. Hate moving...next move, pine box & that's that.

Perhaps when you DO get to go to ceramics class...you can make something like this one. I bought this one...just had to have it.
Nobody realizes how much mischief and grief is averted simply because the potential perpetrators are pre-occupied crafting!
Oh yeh...and pack a roll of toilet paper some place handy...if not for use now, for use at the new place.
