My Mom wanted to wait to get knee replacement. She waited to long and wound up not getting her knees replaced.

An internist said I should get the Knee replace before age 70

That is good advice. You also heal better at the younger age.

I am enjoying the knee replacement discussion. I will need one in the future for my left knee.

Right knee first here, then left. Unless..these shots keep working until I'm gone.

Good luck with that. My Fil needed 2 knee replacements, but never got one due to age. Younger patients get preference because they still work. My in laws live in Canada.

Had a friend back in the 90's. In his 80's. Had..both..knees replaced! He did great!

Have you been getting those wonderful gel shots? I keep getting told by specialists here, to keep getting the shots as long as they're working. Better than knee surgery.

I used to take care of older folks. Now I'm one. Now I truly understand.
