We were visiting my DS$'s place and there was a lady walking her dog and of course the dog was going to "go" in the yard. I rapped on the window and gave her such a scowl and yelled something and my hopefully future DIL ducked into the kitchen to hide.
I said, "I am not yelling at you. Why are you running?" She and I started laughing, and you know what? That lady pulls her dog in and moves past their lawn to this day. LOL!

That is so funny!

Call came in said they where the mortgage holder company
And we owed 16 hundred to them.
Bullpucky was my reply.
He did not know the name of company even.

I got one from some guy with a heavy accent that said he was with the IRS and I owed back taxes plus interest to the tune of $10,000. He asked for my social security number and I told him if he was really the IRS he already knew it. I strung him along for a good 5 minutes then told him I was recording the conversation and the law would be there soon. he hung up fast. I may have been born in the dark but it was not last night!

I've started getting the "We can help with your back taxes" phone calls now that it's tax season.
