The Olive-Egger thread!

So excited to see how these babies mature and the possible eggs! Most of these are F1, F2, and F3 Olive Eggers. There are a couple of BO, Welsummer mixes, and general barnyard mixes too. Hoping to get some frizzles in this hatch too. 19 eggs hatched out of 20. Shipped from TN to WA!

I finally getting an egg from one of my own hatch in October
so Dad is Blue F-1 cockerel the hen is a probably either a BR
or black sex link she is laying a almost white egg right now

Nice...... did you segregate the eggs at lock down so you could band the crosses so you know who is whom at point of lay?

No. I had every intention to do so, but was so overwhelmed with the hatch that I didn't. I did take pics of each and the egg they came out of, not that is going to help me much! LOL

My incubator was so crowded with the 20 eggs I could not separate eggs based on crosses.

Its been a VERY long time since I was on, so I had to finally post what I joined this thread initially dreaming about! That olive is out of one of my F2 OEs and this next month or so I'll be separating for F3s! So happy with my eggs so far.
