You will get a very lovely green--mine are a very pale olive. Very pretty. Makes egg collecting interesting.Ok I have come to the point that my mystery chick I got back in June is a Roo. My guess is that he is a golden lace wyandotte. My question is if I put him in with my EE hens will their offspring give me olive eggs? I will post a pic of him after this thunderstorm passes if you want.
I mistakenly though the blue EE genes over ruled the brown eggs shell. SO I incubated a lot of eggs under a broody. I'm glad I did because I like the color of the eggs, and I have several olive egger hens too. THe eggs look pretty next to each other, highlighting the difference between them.
