The Olive-Egger thread!

Perhaps this question has already been answered on this thread, but as I did not go back and read all (almost) 9,000 posts, I hope you forgive me if I ask it again.

Has anyone on this thread crossed barnevelders and ameraucanas? If so, would you be willing to post pics of the resulting birds and your F1 and/or F2 eggs? Thanks!
You can 'search this thread'(at the top and bottom of posts on every page) too.
Then only 100 posts to scroll thru :D but you might find something.

What do you all think? Pictures on the left are of Marty my 6 week old Olive egger. Pictures on right are of Shamu my 7 week old olive Egger. They are a blue copper Marans with blue Ameracauna cross. I can see Marty is a male right? What about Shamu?

Thank you. The speckled egg is from my turkey.

The small egg between the turkey and the olive egg is from my Cream Legbar pullet. It's her second egg, and we had been thinking they were coming from the olive egger, and were quite disappointed with the shade. Until we saw what a real olive egg looks like! Of course, it's way too green for a Cream Legbar, so I'm still disappointed with it.

I have two more CL pullets growing up, so hopefully one of them will lay actual blue eggs.

The other two greenish eggs are from my Lavender Ameraucanas. Pale teal eggs are pretty enough, but I had hunted out purebred chicks from serious breeders so I could get eggs that were actually blue. So far I am 0 for 5 with two more blue eggers to go. (One of my Lav Ams laid a cream egg, and I sold her.)
