Has anyone working on "making" a true breeding oliver egger breed? As far as I know, there isn't a breed that lays Olive eggs.




Still looking for someone to swap eggs with, looking for barred, splash, or white green/olive eggs for the St Pattys day green egg swap. I got some new green eggers, the 2 that are laying lay avocado-ish eggs. Rooster is splash wheaton-ish, a blue and a splash wheaton-ish hen, and a black and a blue hen. The 3 wheaton-ish birds are feather legged. I'll post some pictures later.

I didn't get an answer about what my chicks from a Welsummer rooster x Wheaten ameraucana would look like. I want to use the chicken calculator but it's not user friendly to me. Would the welsummer be a gold duckwing for color? I'm looking at the pictures because the codes are confusing. It's the only one I see that looks close.

I had a couple from this exact cross. They look very much like their Dad the Wellie....

Would want to swap some eggs? Or are you sellng them? I have a couple of BCM chicks Im gong to put with my Rumpless Araucana rooster, that is if they are pullets. I like the pea comb and beard, but I dont want all my birds to look the same. I've got a few beardless Thai/EE chicks that I may keep together or add to my Malays, depending on what genders I end up with.
