The Olive-Egger thread!

I am no good with chicken genetics at all. 2 of my olive egger chicks hatched with head spots. They are from a cream legbar too over a FBCM hen. Would this cross produce sex links. If so, are the head spot chicks roos?

Thanks.

I have received my seven olive egger chicks, they are now about a week old. I received them when they were three days old. I don't recall seeing any spots on their heads, but is this another way to potentially determine sex?
What do head spots look like?

I'm so excited! I've had EEs, but not OEs. My aunt hatched six chicks for me that may end up being Olive Eggers. Some of the chicks are an Amerecauna/Welsummer cross, and others are an Amerecauna/Blue Laced Wyandotte cross. No doubt there will be roosters, but I'm hoping for some hens!

I just love this shot - what do you think this chick is thinking?
