Hahaha. Penedesencas are very beautiful birds! are they bantam sized? they look so small! Thanks!
My Youngest Daughter was letting one of them fall asleep in her hand yesterday. They are amazingly friendly and calm for being part Penedesenca.

my Little brother decided to check out my chick milkshake the other day....she may be a olive egger? maybe not...idk. she is some silkie mix.
So Ron, the 5 of the 7 OE mix chicks hatched! im so excited! their wing feathering so far is wonderfully unique! They are OE cross crosses...The mom is an OE cross already, now crossed with either a silkie and/or a Japanese Bantam. IM SO EXCITED to se how they grow!

so, is it possible these babies could be Jap and Silkie crosses, and have two dads? the babies have jap legs, and also have blackish feathers, and some black skin.
This is a great picture
We may have gotten lucky with him. I wonder how big they are in Florida? This is a great picture
Penedesenca roosters should weigh 5-5 1/2 lbs hens 4- 41/2
they are lean so they are not that small looking
The black are larger averaging 6-6 1/2 lbs hens in the 5-5 1/2 range
Ron I am getting work though translations are hard in Catalan that they may be working on a larger black. The poster I sent shows him in the center. He may be more like the guy you gave me
These ones look big not sure on the weight but would guess 8 to 10 lbs. Guy may know more on that as well.
Ron do you have the breeders contact info? if so can you message it to me?We may have gotten lucky with him. I wonder how big they are in Florida?
