The Olive-Egger thread!

WYNETTE, WYNETTE ! ! ! LOOK!

Today I was outside messing around, and I saw Miss Olive checking out the nests ...

First this one ....

Darn, I can not get a good picture of the color. Believe me, it is nice and dark olive!

Miss Olive was hatched on Halloween (from one of Wynette's eggs), so she is 23 weeks old (and so beautiful!)​
 
My "Olive" Egger laid another egg today - a bit darker than the one from the other day. It's the egg on the right. Is it possible they will continue to get darker? I always thought eggs got lighter. . . just curious

Is there a name I wonder for the new generation when you mate a B1 x B1? Probably not. This is the start of my effort to breed them true and mainatn egg color. I want to quickly get beyond the point of having all the culls so I hope I won't have to dip back into either side again in orderto proceed with this line.
