Are ya sure about dem mossies??? They sure make a mess when you breed to each other... that is where I come up with all my oddities... Welsummer looking babies... birchen babies.

Heinz line...LOL or what is that movie where a bunch of mice throw everything into a pot???

I have a question. I'm going to try breeding some OE's this spring, using my Barnie/EE roo, over a Barnie hen. Has anyone used a Barnie to make Olive Eggers here? I realize they don't lay the darkest eggs, but though mine may not be the best quality, their egg color is fairly nice, from what I understand. Just wondering if anyone has experience with using this cross and the egg results. Thanks!

Beautiful rooster. Does he have green (Willow) legs or yellow legs? He would so match my EE hens. I just don't want to introduce yellow legs or white legs into my heard.

Still a very pretty bird. Let me know if his EE babies turn out with colored legs. I might be intrested in getting hatching eggs from you (him) a little later.. I'm trying to map out a breeding plan on my EE's, kind of a line breeding (Spriral) thing.

Thanks, Draye, I'll try and remember to let you know how they turn out.
Edited to add, I'm pretty sure the babies will also have yellow legs. They will be 3/4 Barnie, and 1/4 EE, so most likely, yellow legs.
