This is my 13wk old flock. The black and the brown ones are almost certainly hens.
But this brown and black one is starting to look suspiciously roosterish.
Although I'm confused because it's comb and wattles are the same size as the other two. But that tail is so long
The one in question is a Rhode island red over an Australorp. Hence the beautiful colouring.
Since I removed the obvious Isa Brown rooster we had, this one has stepped up as boss.
What are your thoughts?
Also when should I expect them to lay eggs so then I can definately work this out? I keep getting different opinions on this.
