I love feeding my chickens scraps of healthy fruits and veggies.
I've decided to feed them the peelings of my garlic. I've also been giving them a little bit of our onion skins. Some people say not to, and others say its okay. I believe moderation is key, and I don't think the taste or smell will bother me at all (love garlic and onion!). Does anyone have experience (bad or good) with feeding their flock these foods?
Thank you for your imput [IMG]

Interesting question, waiting for the response.
I was told not to give them radishes. Bad eggs!?!?[IMG]

I haven't noticed them one way or the other w/ the dried out portion of the onion or garlic, but mine love onions. We get resaurant scraps for them and they will pick through and find the onions one of the first things.
